Let your audience vote on what you make next

Sell courses, run a community or write a newsletter? Let your audience suggest and vote on your next course, video, workshop or topic, so you make what they’ll actually buy and read. Voting takes one click and no account.

What creators use it for

  • The next course or module: put three ideas up and let the votes decide.
  • Topics for videos, podcast episodes or newsletter issues.
  • Workshop, live session and event ideas for your community.
  • Questions for an upcoming Q&A, ranked by how many people want the answer.

Mark the winner Planned, then Completed when it’s out: your roadmap becomes a “coming next” page your audience can check.

Where to put it

  • On your course or community site: Kajabi, Teachable and Circle all let you add the script.
  • In your newsletter, video descriptions or bio: every board has its own link, so it works anywhere you can post a link, including platforms that don’t allow custom code.
  • On your own website, with a Feedback button on every page.

Boards are public: anyone with the link can see the approved ideas and vote. Ideas wait for your approval by default, and nobody leaves a name or email to take part.

What it costs

The free Hobby plan has no time limit: one board, up to 50 ideas at a time and unlimited voters. Pro is a flat $19/month for unlimited boards and ideas, no UserNote branding, custom CSS and Slack notifications. One board on the free plan is usually enough to start.

Set it up

  • Sign up free at getusernote.com and create a board. Give it a name your visitors will recognize; it shows at the top of the board.
  • Add it to your site with the guide for your platform, or share the board’s own link.
  • Turn on Require approval (it’s on by default) if you want to check ideas before they appear.
