Let customers vote on what you stock next

Find out which products, flavors, colors or sizes your customers want before you order the stock. They suggest ideas and vote with one click, without making an account, and you see the demand ranked by votes.

What stores use it for

  • New products and ranges: “Which flavor should we make next?”
  • Bring-backs: let customers vote for discontinued favorites.
  • Sizes, colors and bundles customers keep asking for.
  • Store improvements: delivery options, packaging, payment methods.

Use the roadmap to show what’s coming: mark an idea Planned when you’ve ordered it, and Completed when it’s in stock.

How it works

  • A Feedback button on every page of your store, or a “Suggest a product” page of its own.
  • Shoppers vote without an account or a password, so you get far more votes than a survey or a review request.
  • New ideas wait for your approval by default, so nothing appears on your store until you’ve checked it.
  • You get an email for each new idea, and an AI summary of the top requests when you want the overview.

It isn’t a Shopify App Store app: you paste one short snippet into your theme, and it adds no cookies or tracking.

What it costs

The free Hobby plan has no time limit: one board, up to 50 ideas at a time and unlimited voters. Pro is a flat $19/month for unlimited boards and ideas, no UserNote branding, custom CSS and Slack notifications. Most small stores start on the free plan.

Set it up

  • Sign up free at getusernote.com and create a board. Give it a name your visitors will recognize; it shows at the top of the board.
  • Add it to your site with the guide for your platform, or share the board’s own link.
  • Turn on Require approval (it’s on by default) if you want to check ideas before they appear.
