A suggestion box your members can vote on

For clubs, associations, parent groups, coworking spaces and online communities: members suggest ideas and vote on them, so you can see what most people want instead of hearing from the loudest few. Nobody needs an account, and nobody leaves their name.

What it’s good for

  • Events and activities: what should we run next?
  • Facilities and equipment: where should the budget go?
  • Rules, timings and how things are run.
  • Agenda items for the next meeting, ranked by votes.

Mark ideas Planned, In progress or Completed, and the roadmap shows members that their suggestions led somewhere.

How it works

  • Share the board’s link in your newsletter, group chat or noticeboard (as a QR code), or add it to your website.
  • Members vote with one click. Each browser gets one vote per idea, without accounts or cookies.
  • Suggestions are anonymous: UserNote doesn’t ask for a name or an email.
  • New suggestions wait for your approval by default, so you can keep things friendly.

Boards are public: anyone with the link can see approved suggestions. Keep anything confidential off it.

What it costs

The free Hobby plan has no time limit: one board, up to 50 ideas at a time and unlimited voters. Pro is a flat $19/month for unlimited boards and ideas, no UserNote branding, custom CSS and Slack notifications. Most clubs never need more than the free plan.

Set it up

  • Sign up free at getusernote.com and create a board. Give it a name your visitors will recognize; it shows at the top of the board.
  • Add it to your site with the guide for your platform, or share the board’s own link.
  • Turn on Require approval (it’s on by default) if you want to check ideas before they appear.
