Add a feedback board to Teachable

Let your students suggest and vote on your next course or lesson. One snippet adds a Feedback button to every page of your Teachable school.

Before you start

Sign up free at getusernote.com, create a board, and copy your board ID from the board’s Install tab (it starts with ws_). Replace ws_YOUR_BOARD_ID in the snippets below with it.

Add a Feedback button to every page

  • In your Teachable admin, go to Site → Code Snippets.
  • Paste this into the Head code snippet field for all pages and save:

Code Snippets are on the Builder plan and above. The head fields are split for logged-in and logged-out visitors as well, so you can show the button only to students if you prefer.

No code at all: link to your hosted board

Every board has its own public page. Add a “Feedback” or “Roadmap” link to your school navigation, course lessons or emails pointing at it; it works on any plan, with nothing to install.

Next steps

  • Settings → Allowed websites: add your domain so nobody can embed your board elsewhere.
  • Settings → Accent color: match the button to your brand.
  • Turn on Require approval if you want to check ideas before they appear.
