October 2026
UserNote launched this month. Everything below shipped in October.
Boards and the dashboard
- Feedback boards where visitors suggest ideas and vote without creating an account, with approval before ideas go public and a public roadmap (Planned, In progress, Completed).
- An email when someone suggests an idea, on by default and set per board.
- Slack notifications for new ideas, with a button to send a test message (Pro).
- AI summary: the dashboard groups open ideas into themes, ranked by votes.
- Import ideas from a CSV file. Columns and statuses are recognized in exports from Canny, Featurebase, Nolt and Upvoty, and you check them before importing.
- Export any board to CSV.
- Hosted boards can be shown in an iframe, for site builders that take an embed but not a script.
Installing
- An install prompt for AI builders on the dashboard’s Install tab, with guides for Lovable, Bolt, v0, Replit, Cursor and Claude Code.
- The usernote npm package: a React component, and mount() for Vue, Svelte and other apps.
- A WordPress plugin, UserNote Feedback Board, in the WordPress.org plugin directory.
- A Framer component on the Framer Marketplace.
- Install guides for 19 platforms, including Webflow, Shopify, Squarespace, Wix, Softr, Kajabi, Circle and mobile apps.
- The Feedback button can sit on the left (data-position="left", or the position option in the npm package and WordPress plugin).
Security
- Custom CSS that could load content from other websites is now refused.
Free tools and offers
- Free tools for product decisions: RICE, ICE, MoSCoW and value vs effort calculators, a product-market fit survey, feature request reply templates, a release notes generator and a Canny pricing calculator.
- Pro free for 12 months for open-source projects.
